DOGSWELL "HOMEWARD HOUND" HIKE A BIG SUCCESS

We were thrilled and honored to be the beneficiary of premium dog food maker Dogswell's "Homeward Hound" hike on Saturday, October 17.  Dogswell donated all proceeds and registration fees to Friends of Animals Foundation.

After a team from Dogswell came to visit our shelter recently and enjoyed a tour, including meeting our special cats and dogs, they generously offered to provide us with donated food and a badly-needed PC for our office, in addition to donating the proceeds from the "Homeward Hound" hike that are now helping feed, shelter and provide vet care for FOAF animals.

A team of FOAF volunteers brought a dozen dogs to share in the fun and not only did Dogswell raise a generous sum, but one of our dogs, the beautiful Henrietta, who came to us after being hit by a car and left injured on the street, found a loving forever home with the volunteer who brought her to the hike.

The irresistible Henrietta has a new loving home with an FOAF volunteer thanks to Dogswell's "Homeward Hound" hike
