I'm a kitty of many moods -- a diva who delights in attention, even a goofball -->

and I can be a serene, delightful companion.  All I need is a nice soft napping spot, a toy or two, and a human who will take care of me and keep me safe.

I'm Hamlet

Unlike Hamlet in the story, I'm a bold, decisive fellow.  I'm brave and once I've decided we're friends I'm not shy about asking for some love.  I get along well with other cats and like hanging out, a little bit of socializing and several naps a day.

We were found wandering in an office park as kittens and a kind rescuer brought us to FOAF.  We're sweet, quiet, well-behaved, and we're awfully fond of each other.

I'm Gigi

I'm smart and fearless, and I always like to be where the action is.  I get along well with other cats, and I like to investigate every nook and cranny to find the perfect hanging-out spot.

I'm Romeo

I'm the quietly devoted type of guy.  I can spend many a happy hour lounging around, maybe having a nice chew on a cardboard box.  But there's no mistaking my excitement when I see you, and no doubt that your first order of business should be to come pet me and tell me how your day was.

I'm Boots

Don't be fooled by my serious look, I'm as sweet and affectionate as they come.  I'm not a kitten anymore, which means that instead of mischief my number one priority is to get snuggling and cuddling the minute I see you -- and I'm such a special, sweet, lovable guy, who can resist?

I'm Joey

I'm a gorgeous young guy, almost a year old, and very smart and sweet.  Although you'd never know to look at me (and play with me) I have a heart murmur, although just so long as I don't try to run a marathon I'll be just fine.  I'm looking for a family that appreciates a fun-loving young guy who's uniquely handsome and friendly with both people and other cats.

I'm Johnny

I'm a shy but very sweet and loving guy.  I've been here since I was just a little kitten and with so many cats around here sometimes I just want to find a quiet place to hang out.  But I'm very gentle and affectionate and I just need a gentle, caring human who I can open up to -- and I'll tell you a secret: if you approach me quietly, I really do love being petted...

I'm Sassy

They call me Sassy, but I'm actually more sweet than sassy.  I like attention, but I'm not a pushy girl.  I'm independent and smart and I get along well with other cats, although, like any cat, I like some quiet time to think.

I'm Meeko

I'm a beautiful Maine Coon mix with unbelievably soft fur.  I'm a pretty quiet, but friendly  guy, and you'll mostly find me hanging out with my good friend Mikey.  I'm very low key, and if you're the quiet and gentle type maybe we can be friends.

I'm Mikey

I'm another quiet, gentle type.  I get along very well with other cats, particularly Meeko, and I love to explore.  I'm a just little shy, but once I get to know you I'm very happy to see you, especially if you  like to pet handsome guys like me.  I may even surprise you with a squeaky little meowing request for some petting.

I'm O.C.

I'm a great example of how love and care can turn a kitty's life around.  When I first came to FOAF I was a scared guy who didn't think much of people.  But after just a few weeks of love, great food, and affection I'm now an absolute sweetheart who loves socializing and cuddling.  In fact, I think people are the greatest!

I'm Freckle

I'm a quiet, fast and smart little man and I get along great with other cats.  I'm cautious around strangers, but once I get to know you and trust you I'm the perfect companion.  I like a nice nap, some quiet conversation, and other forms of low-key quality kitty time.

I'm Chanel

I'm a sweet young girl and I've been here pretty much since I was a kitten. I like to play and I love being with other cats.  I'm not at my most confident around new people, but if you are kind and patient with me  I'll more than repay you with fun and affection.

I'm Lacy

As my name implies, I'm delicate and feminine -- but strong.  I let you know what I want, but in such a charming way you'll understand what a privilege it is to be my person.  I get along well with cats and humans, and am looking for that one person who recognizes all the beauty and brains in this cute package.

I'm Tux

I'm a handsome tuxedo cat with a cute little black goatee.  I'm also the biggest adventurer you're ever likely to meet -- full of energy and a little bit of mischief, I not only like to be where the action is, I like to stir things up when I get there.  If you like a young guy who knows how to have fun but is still a sweet and loving companion, you and I may be true soulmates.

I'm Smoky

Anyone who thinks all black cats look alike should check out my uniquely handsome and super-intelligent face.  I'm a cool customer who likes a good mix of quiet time along with a nice dose of cuddling and affection.

I'm Vanilla

I'm very beautiful, with a soft, silky coat -- but very shy.  I'm lively and fun and I love other cats, but people, especially strangers, make me a little nervous, and I may want to find a safe place to watch for a while, rather than running up to say "hi."  But if you're a patient, calm sort of person, we may be perfect for each other.

I'm Motlee

I'm a very unusual (and unusually beautiful) cat.  I was found living on my own on the streets, and when I first came to FOAF I was a scaredy-cat.  But then a wonderful thing happened: I decided to try to trust people -- and I found out I like them!  I especially love being petted, and will contort myself into funny positions to stay within petting range.  I'm a tiny girl, though full-grown, and as you can see, I'm a brave and strong character.

I'm Katrina

I'm a calm, quiet and friendly cat.  No troublemaking antics for me, I'm so mellow you might be surprised to turn around and see I've been calmly watching you -- just waiting for you to come say hi and stroke my head -- which will make me very happy!

I'm J.C.

Even though I'm just a young guy, I'm a genuine survivor.  I was saved from the city shelter and when I came to FOAF I had what looked like a burn on my back.  But I didn't let that get me down -- I'm a cheerful, happy and energetic boy who loves people, playing and other cats.  Now I'm all healed up I'm ready for a home where I can get lots of play and lots of love.

I'm Jillian

It's kind of funny that I look a little stern in this picture, because I'm anything but!  I'm lively, and a little nutty, with loads of energy.  I'm also very beautiful, with three black paws and one orange paw.  I'm very interested in people but I like to get to know you before committing -- which makes it all the sweeter when I do.

I'm Bunny

I may have the most perfect name of all the cats here!  With my teeny-tiny nose, my beautiful spots, and my tiny, curvy body I do look just like a bunny.  I'm a very quiet and sweet girl, and I love getting petted and cooed over.  If you like tiny, feminine kitties with unusually beautiful, dainty faces, we should get to know one another.

We're a good team.  Bill's a wonderful friend to Sal, and is a little more social (even though I seem to be sticking my tongue out in my picture!)  Sal says, "I'm a little more shy, although once I'm comfortable with you I definitely warm up -- and I love treats."

We are both FIV+, so we can hang together, which is great since even with FIV we expect to live a normal, long life.

I'm Felix

Wow, am I a beautiful cat!  I have shiny, soft silky black fur and a handsome, intelligent face.  I'm a little shy with people, but I'm great with all kinds of cats.  I just need an understanding person who has the gift of making a shy cat feel at ease, and then I'm sure my confidence will blossom just as beautifully as my handsome looks.

I'm Louisa

I'm a sweet girl who's a perfect combination of lively and cuddly.  I was born at FOAF so I've spent my whole life with other cats and people who love me so I'm good with folks and other kitties.  My brothers and sisters have gotten adopted and it's time for me to find my own special forever home, and my own mom or dad to cuddle me.

I'm Kitty

I'm a sweet and very pretty girl with gentle manners and an affectionate nature, and spectacularly beautiful bright green eyes.  I'm a mature girl, so no crazy kitten antics for me, just a lovely gentle, well-mannered lady looking for a happy, safe home.

I'm Maya

I'm a  girl who's a tiny bit shy but very affectionate (and of course, I'm exceptionally pretty with my Siamese face and bright blue eyes).  I love being petted and will happily writhe around while you snuggle and stroke me for a good long time.  I'm an older girl so no mischief-making for me.  I like a soft place to curl up and a loving Mom or Dad -- and that's all I ask.

We were rescued from the streets by an FOAF volunteer. We were very scared when we first came, but we've now become confident, funloving girls.  As you can see, Flora's a cute little tuxedo kitten,  Maxie is a soft and silky all-black kitty.
